Bethany Burgess, LMSW

After my first time taking an Implicit Bias Training for my own licensure renewal, I told my husband, "I need to make a training.  A WEIGHT bias training."  That was over two years ago.  Compiling this project has been a long, fun journey.  I am genuinely excited to share it with you.

professional expertise. personal experiences.  coming together to share their stories.

We hope to spark discussion about medical practices related to weight.  And suggest realistically helpful strategies for improving client care.

And just as importantly, this training was created to be interesting for YOU, the provider.  Your time is too valuable to spend it glassy-eyed and unchanged.  Join us for conversations about something interesting.
